Dr. Sangwan Park received her DVM from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea in 2012 and obtained her PhD from the same university in 2018. In her doctoral dissertation, she investigated morphological alterations of anterior ocular segments in animals using ultrasound biomicroscopy. She then moved to the states after working in a private practice hoping to become a veterinary clinician-scientist and spent 3 years in the MRLT lab as a postdoctoral fellow. During her fellowship, she has met so many great people including her inspiring mentors and dear friends and she is now excited to start a residency in veterinary ophthalmology at UC Davis. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, binge watching Netflix, and spending time with her family and her very fractious (!) cat.
