Bio

I recently graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.S. in Animal Science. Throughout my undergraduate career, I explored veterinary medicine through clinical and research experiences involving small animals, raptors, and equine patients, which deepened my appreciation for the diversity of the field and my desire to work with a variety of species.

During my internship with the UC Davis Vet Hospital Ophthalmology Department, I discovered my interest in veterinary ophthalmology and was inspired by the combination of species diversity, precision, and innovation involved in ophthalmic care. This curiosity about the connection between research and clinical medicine led me to join the Comparative Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences Laboratory, where I continue to expand my knowledge of the field.

I plan to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and hope to continue exploring a career in veterinary ophthalmology. Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy spending time with friends over coffee, horseback riding, running outdoors, and spending time with family and my two cats.
