Ms. Ferneding is a Staff Research Associate with over 25 years of clinical veterinary experience and currently oversees all clinical trials in the COVSL. She previously worked at UC Davis VMTH in small animal nursing. Her experience includes general medicine, neurology, emergency and critical care, and patient care. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician in California as well as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Nevada. She received her BS in Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she worked as a research assistant classifying marine invertebrates as bio-indicators for the EPA. She received her BS in Laboratory Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She joined the COVSL in 2019 and is involved in project management, client communication, and performing and training advanced ocular imaging and diagnostic testing. Her support of our clinical trials helps to improve vision in dogs and other species.
